Motivation of image selection
Goodnight Moon, Le Voyage dans la Lune, Gabrielle d’Estrées et une de ses soeurs and Glasmaler Kraus Dachreklame are very different images in content and form, but they share a non-independence. The first two are part of a larger series of visuals (i.e. children’s book and movie), the third has a similar counterpart and the fourth has two supplementary designs. Most of all, all these images instantly sparked my curiosity and raised questions to further evaluate in Assignment 2 and 3. How else could the frame be colourized? Why are my eyes drawn to nudity? Can I make this design in real life?
